SIFF needs your support to maintain focus, discipline and teamwork inside SIFF and in the men’s movement. In short, we need to maintain a kind of a firewall.
Without discipline, focus and team work, activism can never succeed. There will be very less results or no results. Unfortunately, discipline does not come to men in a natural way. Men often do not give importance to discipline and organizational structures. They often think short term and fail to sustain prolonged fights against anti-male laws. This true even when men see highly disciplined organisations like Army, defense forces or commandos.
Without discipline, there risks of members arguing and fighting with one another is very high. That destroys any team work. It can also lead to very abusive culture, which spills over to social media like facebook or twitter.
Its takes quite some efforts to educate members of SIFF in different cities about our basic principles of discipline. That means special teams need to be created, who can travel to different cities to educate and train members about discipline that the organisation expects from the members.
Every year, 4000 to 5000 person hours of SIFF get spent on indiscipline, internal conflicts, sabotage and other self destructive activities by some of its members.
That is why educating members to follow discipline, to treat each other with dignity and to follow the basic principles of team work is very important. The special team of experts will travel to different cities to educate members about importance of discipline. Simple online education via messages or zoom calls are not effective to maintain a culture of discipline.
These funds will be used for
1) Conducting workshops about discipline and organisational values in different cities.
2) Travel expenses of experts and trainers, who conduct these trainings.
3) Preparation of booklets on focus, discipline and team work, which will be distributed to members.
4) Legal expenses and Lawyer fees for any legal action taken to protect SIFF and its volunteers from defamation, abuse, threats and cyber harassment.
Maintaining a harmonious environment inside SIFF is responsibility of every member. Please help us maintain this peaceful environment inside SIFF. When we succeed in doing that, then there is a chance that we will succeed having such harmonious environment in the whole movement as well.
