Justice for Ranjeet Punjabi and Indian Men
On 12, Jan 2020, men in large numbers gathered at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi to protest against women favoured laws.
He is one of the male victims of matrimonial cases in Rajasthan. His name is Ranjeet Punjabi. He hails from Alwar district in Rajasthan. He has aggressively supported cause of Men’s right movement by participating in protest at Jantar Mantar to introduce Men’s commission. He told his story as below-
In last few years, large number of women and girls are getting kidnapped from Alwar district in Rajasthan, sold out as bride for money. Wife of Ranjeet Punjabi was also kidnapped in 2017. She was abused by corrupted goons in that district. She forced to marry somebody else.
He mentioned, his wife was kidnapped by goons 2 years back. He was living with his wife in Delhi since 2014. After couple of years, wife was forced to file a complaint of DV, Section 125 and multiple criminal cases such as IPC 363, 376, 354, 323, 341, 498A. When she was kidnapped, she was pregnant. People who took her away aborted the child in ovary. Wife was forced to file murder case on her husband. All allegations of dowry harassment, sexual harassment against him are fictitious. He was trapped in various cases and forced to run behind police, courts. He said, while he was living with his wife in 2014 in New Delhi, how could any harassment happen to her in 2014, as mentioned in allegations. He could prove all allegations are fake along with evidences. He said, district DSP, DGP, investigation officers, Advocates are running a racket of flesh trade. They are selling girls and women. Around 7000 women and girls are disappearing from Rajasthan. Kidney racket is also running in Apollo Hospital. More than 50% cases filed are fake. because of that genuine cases are not run properly. Genuine victims don’t get justice.
He said, he went to register a complaint against real criminals, Police Department is not listening to him. He has written complaints to even Chief Minister of Rajasthan, President of India. President has given order to take his complaints, but System is so corrupt, no page is moving in his case. He expects at least investigation should be carried out properly.
