Men’s Right Activist and Great Human Being Srirami Reddy Is no More!
With great sadness I am writing that our friend Srirami Reddy, Counselor, activist and executive member of SIFF, AP & Telangana region has met with an accident on Friday morning 22th January 2021 while coming towards Hyderabad near Medchal on NH4. This is about 35 km from Hyderabad. He breathed his last while being taken to hospital. He was 44. His was a native of Vijaywada region in Andhra Pradesh.
I had first hand worked with Srirami in organizing SIFF Hyderabad seminars and I have seen his dedication and his eagerness to do something about the issues at hand. He was soft spoken but his attention to details was awesome. He was a good counsellor because he not only understood the legal nuances but also the emotional part of the issues. He was one of the pillars of the SIFF Hyderabad team and ensured continues weekly meeting that were conducted in Hyderabad for male victims of false cases, matrimonial cases, suicide issues, emotional issues, depression etc.

Recognizing his great contribution, he was felicitated by our SIFF co-founder Pandurang Katti, SIFF president Rajesh Vakharia and Hyderabad center coordinator RP Shah.

He had attended our SIFF Conclave in Delhi in Feb 2020 where he spoke briefly about his case and how he fought & overcome.
Recently our Hyderabad SIFF members celebrated his birthday. He was such a lively person. Always had a smile.

Srirami Reddy you will be missed and you will continue to live in our hearts. Your work will continue to inspire us to work for well being of men.
SIFF co-founder Pandurang Katti said “He will miss Srirami for the logical and rational thoughts that he always brought into the discussion. He was extremely committed.”
SIFF co-founder Anil Kumar says “This is shocking news. Sri Rami Reddy was pillar of men’s movement for us all at Hyderabad. He had organized many workshops for victimized men and he had helped hundreds of victimized men. This is an irreparable loss for our movement.”
Joy Bose one of the core members of the then SIFF Hyderabad team says “Srirami has been always a good friend to me, a humble yet determined and reliable person. He had a calm demeanor and always a helpful and unselfish attitude. He helped so many men trapped in fake cases in Hyderabad and elsewhere. His life was an inspiration and his unfortunate and untimely death is a great loss for all of us. May he rest in peace!”
