Murders by Mothers: Govt is silent.
We often come across news of women killing their children and then committing suicide. Somehow, Govt ignors this social issue of abuse and murder of children as they do not have rights to vote. The ministry of women and children is also completely silent about it.
No one gives a woman the right to indulge in mercy killing of children.
BANGALORE: A mother on Friday killed her three children in the age group of three to eight years, by pushing them into a water tank here and then committed suicide by jumping into it, police said. The police suspect that the woman first administered poison to the children and took some herself before jumping. Police suspect that the woman took the extreme step as the family had been affected by financial problems.
